Something a little different

It’s been a wild week. My work is most often busy the last week of the month and the first week of the next. Since my boss was at Disney World celebrating her birthday, this week was a bit more. Thankfully my hubby finally got some positive news in the battle of the kidney stones after having laser lithotripsy on Thursday.

Meanwhile the house, as usual, needs cleaning, lots of it.   While I was at it, I decided to take a break to take a peek at the contents of two jumpdrives.   Amongst the baby pictures, I was pleased to find I had photos of some old paintings I made.  Before I became a mom the second time, I was able to stay up late and paint a bit. (Yep–it’s been a while) in watercolors and acrylics.

See, there are certain things that make me smile and remind me of spring. One thing is the blooming of the crocuses, which we have this week.  I love the happy faces of daffodils and was thrilled to find pictures of these paintings.
Some of these have been shown locally but I don’t think I’ve ever put them out there for the world to see.  Here are some of my happy daffodils to brighten your day. HopeDaffodilsNarcissus
