Who has the button? Twisted Sketches Card Sketch 4

A monochromatic friends card

For this card, I started with DCWV textured card stock and cut it to 5″x 11.5″. Using the cuttlebug with the Textile embossing folder, emboss one end. Using the largest labels 6 die from Spellbinders (remember to change your plates in the CB!), cut the textured end halfway to make the scallop but not the whole label. Fold from the untextured end up 3.5″, score and then again, placing the scalloped, textured end on top. Using Spiced Marmalade distress ink from Ranger, highlight the textured areas and distress to suit you. Ribbon is from Portafolio as is the flower. The sentiment (source unknown–thanks Nikki K! for the stamp!) was stamped with Pallette Hybrid ink in Black and the sentiment strip was distressed and edged with Spiced Marmalade. The rose is a button from Favorite Findings. Enjoy and check out the sketch here :

this is great! I’m not sure how you are able to just cut one end of the card though. I just can’t get my head around it :s
