It’s Saturday and time for another card sketch at Twisted Sketches!!

How are you? Twisted card sketch #26

The sketch will be found at and the twist is “circle” –anyway you please! Mine started as a DCWV Card Kit in a Stack–Thinking of You, except the buttons that were from a Christmas kit and the fiber was from a yardsale find from years ago.
Thinking about making cards but not sure where to start? With the kit, you know all the elements coordinate and with the sketch, it’s just a matter of placement. Throw in your favorite adhesive and there you have it.  And there are loads of other options that coordinate in the kit.  You can add an image, change the colors, change the sentiment—and that is just in keeping the sketch and twist.  Switch that around and you’ll soon have a whole set of cards for nearly any occasion.  And the really great part?  My kit was on clearance so these simply basic cards could yield a set of twenty (without envelopes) for $2.50 plus tax.  Considering you can get matching envelopes for about that or just a bit more, or make your own from scraps, and you’ll have a set of cards for less than many single cards cost from the store.  You can personalize it to your recipient and you’ll have added that extra bit of love too!

While you’re thinking about all that, be sure to check out the Design Team call for Twisted Sketches Cards.  Lots of fun and a fabulous team to work with.  The deets are also at just below the last posting for the Scrapbook team.  You’ll create a new card every other week and have a chance to share it proudly with all the twisted sketches fans.

Happy Crafting! Paula
