Today is my day for another Smeared Ink Design Project! Yea! Sorry to be a little late posting—allergies are kicking in and either, my eyes are itchy & my head is stuffed up, or my eyes are itchy & my head is draining nonstop, so I’m combining projects today & scaled it back a bit from my original plan as I didn’t have the patience or free hand to work it out all the way.
The challenge for the blog hop was to use a technique you’ve been wanting to try or haven’t for a while AND it had to be one no one else had chosen. I chose to do a “pop up” card & had a BIG idea but went back to a simpler version I had tried before.
I’m using the Carnival unmounted rubber stamps set from http://www.smearedink.com, an image & some of the sentiments. I opted to do an “encouragement” card & added to my sentiments with hand written text, using a Prismacolor cocoa bean marker, fine tip end. The stamping ink is Palette Hybrid Noir Black & there’s a little Ranger Distress ink in Vintage Photo here & there.
