Twisted Sketches Card #61—Summer

Find a Shady Spot and Sit

It’s time for another fantastic card sketch at Twisted Sketches! Can you believe its number 61??? And the twist this time is “summer”. I tipped the sketch up on its side. The base and the sentiment are made of cardstock from the Recollections Spice Market packet. The base is folded to 4.25″x5.5″ with a top fold. The green and golden cardstock are from the K & Co. Painted Garden Specialty Paper stack. The tree is a rub-on from Basic Grey Wholly Cow that I fluffed a bit with the extra branches to create my flourish. The little bird is from the same collection. I used a Staedtler fine line pen to write the sentiment. The sentiment panel and matt are cut with Spellbinders Nestabilities Labels in my Cuttlebug machine. The card was assembled using a Scotch ATG gun (I have the pink one). Hope you enjoy!! Happy Crafting and have a safe holiday weekend–may everyone be blessed with beautiful, peaceful weather as we continue to remember those impacted by the various storms.
Be sure to visit the Twisted Sketches blog and check out the lovely work by the design team. Leave them some love, make your interpretation of the sketch & twist, and share!!!
