The Valentines above are from the fabulous collage sheets from January 2012. The Christmas box below was a gift, and uses the Postal collage sheets from December 2011. These are just a sampling of the great images and papers offered with new ones coming each and every month. Working on some ideas for the beautiful products for February to share soon. (Didn’t fall off the face of the Earth. The family, all four of us, have some sort of angry respiratory bug that we’ve been fighting since the first of the year. Hoping this round of antibiotics kicks it to the curb!) Happy, healthy crafting all ;)! –P

Thinking this card may get reworked into a wall hanging/decoration. I stamped the Lil Grumpie from the Holidays collection, cut & colored him in his predicament & placed the presents around him. He’ll go great with the Smeared Ink presents from the new release too (but someone went shopping yesterday and needs to print the presents for next time.) Be sure to visit the rest of the hoppers in the list at right, leave them some love & the hop will be back on Tuesday. There’s a new Smudgy Antics challenge going up on Monday too. Enjoy!

A clean and simple Christmas card today. The main image (tree) is a Recollections stamp. The sentiment is from a set, probably Inkadinkado but I’ve misplaced the packaging ;). Stamped with Jet Black Stazon ink on cream cardstock. (The picture isn’t the best but we’re gearing up for a bit of rain and I can’t catch the light better right now. I’m going to have to move the Ottlite to the picture area!!).
I hope you’ve been visiting each of the blogs!! THere’s a blog list just to the right here –> under the 12 Days of Christmas banner. Not sure if Kymberly and one other have had a chance to update their blogs yet but the others are creating awesomeness all around!! It’s another Smeared Ink feature day on Wed. but hope to get some other Christmas goodies up for you later too. Thanks for stopping by!!!

My Day 1 entry is a simple little card using Studio G stamps in the Rudolph line. Hope you like it! Trying to decide if it will remain a card that someone might send to a certain younger someone who loves to get mail or might transform into a gift bag upgrade (or both). Be sure to follow the links at right under the Jolly Blogger banner to check out the fantastic work by the other hoppers. Leave lovely comments for a chance to win big at the end!! Day 2 will be Saturday with some fantastic images from the Smeared Ink collection, including the debut of some brand spanking new ones from the design team!! YAY!!!
PS: Check back soon for new stuff from me from the Gecko Galz new release and more Smeared Ink goodies plus some swap creations. Gotta get my camera whirring and the computer hopping very soon to catch up!!!

Be sure to check out the fabulous creations by the other bloggers. You can start at: http://jensdigistamps.blogspot.com/. It’s running Oct 10- Oct. 16 and, if you comment along the hop, you have the chance to win prizes. The deets are in Jens post. This is my first creation in honor of the hop, using a free image that Jen posted last Friday. I hope I get to create with her again soon.

Once again, GeckoGalz has some fabulous papers, collage sheets, digi stamps– all sorts of new fabulous goodies released, this time for the month of October. If you’re looking for some Halloween goodies, be sure to look in the September collage sheets :). I used an image from the Haute Couture collage sheets collection to make a simple birthday card. Things have been a bit hectic and emotional here the past few weeks so simple it is. I printed the image sheet with an inkjet printer, cut her out, layered her on black, then alternating layers in the purple family. I borrowed the sentiment and hand wrote it with a fineline pen from Staedtler. May go back and add some little flowers or a bow before I use it. This collection has lots of lovely ladies and fashions. There’s also a Wizard of Oz collection that I’m itching to use as well as some Trains & Planes. Words and music papers. Little darlings and animal crackers offer an abundance of cuteness. The Alphabet soup has some beautiful frames (again!!) and a tag alphabet. It’s all available for really reasonable prices, in print or digi format, just for you at GeckoGalz. I plan to be back with more goodies from these and previous collections this month. There are new collections at GeckoGalz each month with inspiration from a fantastic DT so check back often! Happy Crafting! P

I’m the featured Design Team member at GeckoGalz this month!!! Be sure to visit http://www.geckogalz.com and click on the “Learn how to make this card” butterfly emblem on the left for instructions. For this card, I used the new September releases of the Gibson Girls ephemera page and the Spooky Sentiments Alphabet Soup collection. There’s also some clear translucent paper (think vellum)—not sure where?? Check out the instructions at Geckogalz.com for deets and other supplies. Thanks for stopping by and Happy Crafting!! – P

The challenge this week at the Smudgy Antics blog and SmearedandSmudged Ink is to make a Gothic Newborn card. My image is from the new Halloween digi release from July from Smeared Ink. (can’t find a manufacturer on the carriage stamp). More deets later this evening. Running late to an appointment that seemed more possible when I made it.
UPDATE:: these were printed on Georgia Pacific white cardstock and colored with colored pencil, except the “little terror” also used a Sharpie for his face. They’re about 5.5 inches square. The sentiments are written with a Staedtler 0.3 mm pen and Staedtler 1/4 inch stencil.

Today, I’ve made a trifold get well card. The base is 5″x11″ black cardstock, trifolded. The front panel sports a Grumpie from Lil Love Grumpies Digi Set at Smeared Ink, printed on gray cardstock at wallet size, colored with colored pencils, cut out and mounted on yellow cardstock which was then torn to deckle edge and attached to the base. The sentiment is handwritten with Sharpie.
The middle panel is stamped in Hybrid Palette noir black ink on yellow, orange, and blue cardstock, then cut, layered and highlighted with colored pencils before I added the blue & orange to the yellow layer, deckle that and attach to the black base. The third panel says “get well soon” . Hope you enjoy and happy crafting! Paula
